This field covers 2-3 acres and has approx 1000 common milkweed plants in clusters. The land was posted so we searched leaves of plants adjacent to the public highway looking for signs of monarch activity ( eggs, larvae, and adults ). Did not see any signs during our search period of 1/2 hour.
