Looks like one made it to 2nd instar! On a narrowleaf sprout. I’d never see without my reading glasses or if it wasn’t on a single stem away from the rest.
Excitement. Except that the dogs run through here to sit under the pear tree and sometimes lie right here.
My apologies, but I picked the top part of the stem and moved it three feet into my narrowleaf forest.
You can call that captive reared if you like.
