8:35 a.m.adult male rubythroat still here. We only got up to 100 degrees yesterday with 112 heat index at 5 p.m. Prediction of 103 today. Ssw Wind gust 16 mph.

I put out another same style feeder and hung it under pergola side hoping it is cooler in shade more for him.
Too hot to observe even thru open back door watching thru glass storm door closed. To see if he goes there in afternoon. Doubt it, he goes up in oak tree in front fast after kitchen window feeder sips. Even goes to feeder in pic at 2:30 p.m in heat.
