We have raised from eggs found on our swamp milkweed 21 monarch butterflies since finding our first large caterpillar on the milkweed on June 15, 2023. Through today we have released 7 males, 11 females, and had 3 get away from us before determining their sex. We have many many more in chrysalis at the moment and 5 or so caterpillars that will munch their way to chrysalis in the next week or so.
