8:27 am. Driving rain. I didn't even bother to open all the blinds. Then I saw a bird trying to feed from A and then from 2.

I poured some nectar into an empty feeder and removed the hanging plant from the number one feeder position and hung a new feeder there.

It's under the rain gutter and completely dry. It never got any action. Well, once, on July 15th. It had to be a returning bird because it knew the drill.


It occurs to me: I have a crumpled paper bag there to keep wasps away. I'll remove that now.
