Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/07/2023

Number: 2

These two caterpillars were in the same general area but about 100' away from one another. They were both "given away" from evidence of eating the milkweed--nibbles and frass. The caterpillar in the grass had a predator nearby--also in the grass--a praying mantis. (It looks like I can only put one picture, so I wanted to note they both seem to be 5th instar caterpillars.)
