The two Monarch Butterfly larvae reported on 07/26/2023 from this location entered their chrysalises beginning 07/31/2023. These larvae were feeding on Swamp Milkweed when discovered (I apologize for failing to include this information in the initial larvae sighting report). One made a chrysalis on the bottom of the porch railing next to our office pollinator garden and the other on a Purple Coneflower leaf within the garden. Butterflies in both chrysalises look to be fully formed and will likely emerge sometime between the end-of-day today over the weekend.
