Dragging the pails up to the road. I have no "grass". My entire yard, front and back is garden.

I saw an adult female soaring through the yard to about midway where I have a guara plant that sort of overhangs the walkway. She was nectarine from the tiny flowers.

I was so startled. And, so happy. I planted my yard so even the fences are living. It's a bird paradise (even though I need a through clean up after long covid).

I feel great with my primary and incidental choices providing food for my flighted friends.
