Overcast and 70 degrees this afternoon,winds 9 mph, rain predicted later.

This little girl is enjoying a native delphinium. Native delphiniums are not as extravagant in appearance, but their nectar is adored and they’re more apt to stand upright.

Nectar banquets are being heavily used: nasturtiums, Wild petunias, Proven Winners Petunias, Salvias, Lantana. Phlox, cosmos, native cardinal flower, native blue lobelia, cosmos , Joe Pye Weed, Hyssop, Casa Blanca Lillies, Dicentria Luxuriant and foxgloves, Indian Pinks.
