Saw first Monarch of this season on Milkweed in my pollinator garden. It was a deep orange in color so hopefully it is a female. Previous years had numerous caterpillars usually in July with many adult sightings. Very concerning absence this year. Have seen Milkweed Tiger Moth caterpillars on milkweed plants so at least something is benefitting from my efforts.
