So far I released 5 females and have approx. 28 Chrysalises in my cage plus 8 Caterpillars ready to climb as of today. My husband is making another, larger one, ready tomorrow. I also have lots of eggs and cats, etc. in various stages growing and eating in another location. My neighbor gave me common milkweed and when I went to take the leaves off for food I noticed a chrysalis hanging. I placed a rectangle around it. I will report the sex and number released at the end of season.
