Unless I re-counted one I saw in the same area a couple of weeks ago, but seems like I would’ve seen a larva/instar where the egg had been. Because I have so much milkweed, maybe next year I’ll tie a piece of yellow or orange or red yarn 🧶 on the milkweed where I’ve spotted an egg or larva.
