The morning started with 51 degrees, hummers arrived at feeders enjoying warm nectar around 6:20 AM. Sunshine and 75 degrees during the afternoon. Feeder intensity, aerial games and chasing, increases in the evening from 7 PM to 8:30 PM.
At 8:30 PM all the hummers call it a day and head for bed.
Flower banquets visited from the time the arise to 8:30 PM: butterfly bushes, salvias, nasturtiums, zinnias, phlox, impatients, wild petunias, blue lobelia, jewel weed, swamp milkweed, fireweed, obedient plants, foxgloves, lantanas.
