Today, spotted two adult monarchs while casually observing during my normal activities. At noon, one fresh looking monarch female was observed flying in gusty wind amongst and nectaring on goldenrod, and another flyer seen over a field early afternoon.
Yesterday, August 19th, observed three adult monarchs. At 10a.m., 69degF, a fresh-looking female monarch basking in morning sun on a raspberry stem. Another flying at 10:30, and another at 17:40.
One monarch flyer observed before noon on August 15th, and none observed from August 18th to 16th, and none on the 14th.
