I saw this male in the grass in our yard. He was flapping his wings a lot. I went out to see what was the problem. He had pinned down a Red Admiral Butterfly, which I then helped to release from his grasp. This male was defending his territory and I took this photo a little bit later. Looks like he does go to battle quite often. Waystation #13039
