Two monarchs observed flying around the yard together, almost in circular patterns. One stayed and nectared on a dozen or two zinnias most of the day, visiting black eyed susan’s very briefly in between. The other was not sighted again.

There are a dozen or two milkweed plants in the yard (of different varieties… swamp, common, and another I don’t know).
