After spending a lot of money and time trying to establish a Monarch way station I was excited when I finally had several caterpillars. I patiently watched the until they were ready to pupate, but one morning when I came out they were gone. I looked and I looked but I couldn’t fine any papas. To my surprise when I opened my compost bin today I saw one hanging from the lid.
