I observed three ruby throats feeding from touch-me-nots. One was a mature male, one was probably a mature female with white at the base of her beak, the other was a female or juvenile. The male was chasing the other two away from the flowers but they would simply go to another section of the patch. There were cardinal flowers also blooming in this spot but the hummers were ignoring those and concentrating on the touch-me-nots.
