Ruby Throated hummingbird on Agastache Sunrise White flowers. Of the 33 varieties of Agastache we have planted, Coronado, Kudos Red and Firebird are visited more often than others. Not seen hummingbirds on any Agastache rugosa (Korean hyssop) species or related hybrids. Hummingbirds are currently visiting Sanguisorba officinalis, Celosia argentea spicata, Verbena bonariensis, Dahlia, Zinnia, Echium plantagineum Blue Bedder/Rose bedder, Penstemon barbatus varieties, Penstemon grandiflorus and Penstemon x mexicali in addition to Cuphea, Fuchsia, Lobelia and Salvia cultivars.
