After seeing two female Ruby-throated hummingbirds fight at the feeder recently we decided to get another feeder and keep them well apart. Our girl now checks out the first feeder (a Perky-pet Hummingbird feeder) and if there are too many Yellowjackets (wasps)she moves over to the other feeder (as seen in the photo).
We have feeling that she still won't tolerate another Hummingbird in the yard. No matter how many feeders we have and how far apart they are. :)
