Saw a male about 11 am, then a female about 11:20. SHe seemed to be talking her time checking out milkweed for places to lay eggs.
A male showed up later on and patrolled the yard all afternoon & eve. Saw a couole of defensive skirmishes, so I know there have been at least three monarchs in the yard today.
