Saw this roost of 18 form near dark last night in an Elm right by our house. Is still there this morning, 8-27 and is about as tight a cluster as I have seen. What a year for Monarchs here, have seen roosts now for 3 weeks. Burned a 20 acre prairie remnant south and east of our building site early this spring and this seems to be holding Monarchs with them roosting in our yard at night.
