Monarch, Captive-Reared
Sightings report image

Date: 08/27/2023

Number: 11

Hello bird people. Took in eleven monarch catapillers last week. Four were parasited. The seven left should emerge within a day or two of each other. There is another one on the swamp milkweed, I think I'll leave it there. Seeing more monarchs as the tithona is blooming. Enjoying the nice weather but it's going to heat up again. Good birding and good gardening.
