Individual m01, day seventeen since finding egg on July 28th, measured 43mm long at rest and over 50mm long when crawling and stretching about. It prefers to eat its leaf completely down to a nub before moving on to a fresh provided leaf. During instar five its container had to be cleaned twice per day, and it consumed an entire leaf every day up until today and two leaves today.

Image is of larva on this third day after molting to instar five, early afternoon pooping and beginning to eat its second leaf of the day.

Room temperature ranged from 73F to 77F.
