After 109 yesterday and rain storms after dark last night, it was a quiet no visible hummingbird humid morning.
This make guy showed up just now at 3:30 p.m. in 104 heat index trying to sip on a, you know, hot sugar water feeder. Do notice it's not JB feeder usually hung there. That JB feeder crashed down in yesterday's 118 heat index in afternoon. The lid glued top hanger part melted top off feeder fir crash. But glass part didn't break. Feeder was all apart on patio bricks.
We are not happy in the heat but try to be up beat hosting rubythroats here.
