Thought perhaps the adult male ruby throats had left this morning until this guy showed up to feed. Then saw him and another adult male off and on during the day. The rest were females/juvenile rubies. A new female showed up around 3:00 pm central time and voraciously nectared from dozens of blossoms of 4 black-and-blue salvia plants. She looked like she couldn't get enough. At this point we're counting every day a male ruby throat is around as a blessing!
