6-8pm- Point Pelee (Tower) & area- Bevel Line, Go Kart track, Caldwell/Sturgeon boardwalk & my road.
Observed both pristine & very faded torn monarchs at Tower base nectaring on Woodland Sunflowers & Goldenrod. One was caught in a spider web but as we were looking for something to reach up & free it, it freed itself. A Giant Swallowtail also visited settling on Hop tree. Outside of the Park, several seen crossing west over Bevel Line Rd & at Caldwell/Sturgeon Creek Boardwalk. Also a few attempting to cluster on trees cascading over our road. Very light ESE wind & sunny, 21°c.

Note- 8/29- zero monarchs at Seacliff Park- cold front arrived late afternoon. Rain expected 8 pm. 21° cloudy with
SW wind @13kmh.
