Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 08/30/2023

Number: 18

There are only a few hummingbirds still in the garden as per sugar water consumption. The number is an approximate. At peak, we were filling 48oz per day. Now it is 20oz on rainy days, less on sunny days. Haven't seen most males since last week. Today, most females are not to be seen. Also gone are the Juvenile males that had some gorget feathers. Interestingly, there are 2 or 3 new juveniles - rest on stonewalls/plants while nectaring.
