Kit cobbled together of items from recyle bin to raise one monarch from egg.

Pastry tub with lid for rearing egg and first four instars and for transfer holds while cleaning the crawling jar.

Lids used for milkweed leaf collecting, leaf holders, and some cut to make stem holders with water-soaked paper towel. Caps to hold water to regulate moisture.

Crawling jar 35oz, wide mouth lid with punched (outward to prevent sharp edges on inside) ventilation holes, 7 inches tall, tall enough for large milkweed leaf including makeshift stem holder at the bottom.

Twigs cut to fit crawling jar for larva to explore and easily crawl to top for pupating.

Monarch larva m01 shown in the morning while transferring, to clean the jar and provide a fresh leaf, day seventeen since finding egg on July 28th.
