Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 08/30/2023

Number: 3

Taken around noon time today.

The high for today was 97 degrees and the low expected to be around 73.

Today I was in the backyard and had bent down to pick up the water hose, as I was coming back up, something flew right past my face, almost hit my face and as I turned to see if it was a sparrow or some other bird, I seen two hummingbirds that had just flew by. One was trying to chase the other one away, trying to let it know this is my yard, my feeder. I'm guessing this is one of the two hummers. It's up in the Bald Cypress Tree that is located right outside my fence. They like to sit up in that tree watching over the Turks Cap flowers in my back yard.
I am still seeing the adult male and a female hummer.
