Observed 2 female monarchs lay eggs on the underside of common milkweed leaves. The milkweeds grow on the edge of a pond that is a shorebird area. The females landed on the top of the leaf and then moved to the edge of the leaf and wrapped their abdomen to the underside to lay the egg. Observed both females lay at least 2 eggs in the same group of milkweeds.
