Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 08/16/2023

Number: 12

I have been raising Monarchs for 5 years, this year about 1/4 so far have been from eggs found on milkweed at River bends park, the rest range from tiny newly hatched to larger almost full grown 🐛.All, but one very small larvae have successfully chrysalized and emerged as beautiful monarchs, only 2 females so far of my 13 raised. I wondered why so few and started researching and came across research from someone named Andy K. From years ago and how female population are declining. This is still holding true from my findings.
