Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/01/2023

Number: 2

A very aggressive sub adult male cane to high view feeder at 6:45 a.m. that I'm trying to figure species.
He did a crazy frenxy loop all over when the one last night sighted at 7 p.m. came to Fiery Red Hamelia again. He was sitting in fried spent blossoms of 7 foot purple gurantica/Amsted bushes for a hide out. Gurantica is trying to recover it looks like.

I feel so sorry for them in that what few potted nectar plants, trying to bloom, are not performing well in our heat. The late yesterday's came sneaking into patio at 8 a.m. just hovering around plants. Could only go to orange, fuschia bougainvillea hanging baskets I understand don't have nectar. Black and blue salvia are blooming but in sight where hummer could get charged at by aggressive male.

They are now up in trees after 8:45 a.m.
