Sightings report image

Date: 09/04/2023

Number: 5

One of 5 in photo still here at noon. These are all young juvenile males. They Were out early at 7 a.m. in humidity + and going to Hamelias.

Photo is looking out office double window outback and seems to be the feeder attraction. 1 older male is also coming to pergola feeders so the count could be more.

Two stay up in maple trees on right of pvc feeder pole. Swing in and out slight chasing from this area. First nature feeder hung on a shepherd's hook away from pole on right window being is used also.

On driveway side with same feeder as in photo and flower bed of Hamelias 2 are doing same maneuvers. One with most red throat is going to front feeder or pergola feeder.

Slight rain at noon to steam it up. I give up on keeping any purple gurantica varieties this summer bc heat is causing terrible blooming.
