There are still several hummingbirds around - two or three that I believe are juveniles that were hatched here and a couple passing through that are nectaring in the flowers. I have many types of salvia this year and they love them as well as the firecracker pictured here (Cuphea). Even with such a small number they are still fighting and doing their arial acrobatics. I'll miss the flying jewels! We had another good year for adults and babies.
