7 monarchs seen 6:40-7:50 pm before 7:57 sunset at Point Pelee National Park. Monarchs were intensely nectaring on Woodland sunflowers & Goldenrod at base of tower. Observed roosting behaviour this evening. Hoping for a cluster soon! A couple of monarchs flew too & roosted in trees; one in a Hop tree & another in a Hackberry. Near shuttle stop observed two checking out branch tips. Those that I could see close enough appeared pristine with plump abdomens. Sunny & a hot 29°c with SSE wind @13-20kmh. 63% humidity.
Observations by eye, binoculars & camera
