One adult full sized male rubythroat is still here as of last night around 7 p.m. photo. He comes in early morning avoiding one agressive sub adult male rubythroat when he is chasing out others. We have 8 feeders out with all being used spread out 3 sides of house. All are still young males, two small imature males with full neck throat feathers. 2 Rufous being in the count. Sometimes they go to inground Hamelias, Turks cap. Hamelias are that of Fiery red, compact yellow. So far ignoring just now fully open blossoms of potted 'Lime Sizzler' Hamelias.
They go up into tall trees when it gets hot during day. Then agressive one starts up chases in afternoon around 6:30 .....102 predicted and no females yet.
