Today, following the passing of a cold front was a major day of monarch migration through my home town of Atlantic, Iowa. I was on a golf course throughout the day and saw them over and over and over, all heading to the southwest. This began by 9:30 a.m. and continued through at least 3:30 p.m.
75 is an estimate, likely a bit under what was out there to be sure.
