Over several minutes…at least 1 male possibly 2,2 females and 3-4 juveniles with only mottled brown/gray/white color. My observations of the color and marking made me come to these conclusions. They have been coming regularly for several weeks. I had little success early on this summer, mainly because a big yellow jacket colony was taking over the feeders keeping the hummers away…but I now have a huge collection of profusely blooming big pots planted with annuals. I saw hummers at them and That made me put the feeder back up and I immediately had customers.
All were feeding at my 2 feeders which contains homemade granulated syrup/nectar.
