Bald Eagle

Date: 08/30/2023

While driving north I could not help but gawk at the wingspan of the vultures until I realized they were bald eagles because of their white heads. They were circling above the interstate and I was hoping that they did not try to swoop down to the busy interstate. They saw something for sure. As I slowed down a bit, I watched them settle in a tall pine by the roadside.

Last February, I saw 3 bald eagles in a mating ritual. Takes your breath away, our dog’ Winnie, too. The eagles did not mind our presence at all.
