It was a very slow start to the day. Our first tagged monarch was at 12:00 ish. Just too cool (16 degrees at 8:00) and the overcast sky did not encourage them to be out and about. WNW wind 16 - 29 km However, we did pick up as the day progressed until we tagged 31. All but 2 were average or greater in weight. One was 0.89 gms. We actually had 5 monarchs that weighed in at 0.80 gm or more. WOW!
