Monarch Waystation #271 reports finding 5 monarch larvae resting or feeding on the potted Tropical Milkweeds stationed in the front yard beds and patio between 7:45 and 7:50 am. Three 3rd instars and two 4th instars were noted without a diligent, thorough search of every milkweed present. No time to photo, or to check beds in the backyard, was watering pots before leaving for errands and a volunteer shift.
