On a friend's prairie acreage, we saw 29 monarchs and were able to catch and tag 18. Sunny, 74, slight breeze. Flowers blooming were Stiff Gildenrod, Canada Goldenrod, Maxmillin Sunflowerand Blackeyed Susan. All monarchs observed were on Stiff Goldenrod.
