Picture taken this Saturday morning at 8:05 am.
Seeing three hummers this morning.
Temps are nice today, was 77 degrees at time pic was taken and expected high is 98 degrees.
We had a lighting show last night around 9, the skies were lit up with flashes of bright light, this went on into late night and no trace of rain in my rain gauge this morning.
This male is sitting on the fence located right close to the big group of Turks Cap. They were busy playing chase this morning, probably because it was so much cooler than yesterday, they were more active. I have a few feeders located by the Turks Cap and just about anytime I walk over by the feeders the male comes down for a minute and then goes back up in the Bald Cypress trees or flies around the house and then goes to Bald Cypress trees. I think the female watches over the other feeders located by the patio, she sits up in the tree above the back yard, well there is a big branch that goes across the yard, plenty of green to give her shade and a hideout from big birds.
