We saw 5 monarchs this afternoon. Last year in this spot we were seeing 20-30 monarchs. This year the habitat is healthy with Joe Pye, Nutall Sunflower, Swamp and Showy Milkweed, Sneeze Weed and Rag Weed. We’ve had lots of water in the Spring and Summer Months and all the plants are tall and thriving. Just harder to spot a Monarch.
