Approximately 29 monarchs seen 6:15-7:50pm before 7:48 sunset at Tip at Point Pelee National Park. Monarchs were seen flitting high above tree tops near tower & Tip shuttle stop. On walk down & then up west path monarchs were flitting at about 30' up flying north toward shuttle stop area & a few came in off of shoreline. The park boasts plentiful Goldenrod & Woodland Sunflowers. No monarchs seen nectaring this evening. After 7pm two individually settled near Tip shuttle stop; one on a Hackberry tree & the other on a vine. By 7:40 most activity stopped. Partly sunny & 21°c, with 86% humidity & favourable North wind @12-23 kmh. Overnight low forecast 14°c.
