Summit Academy Homeschool reared and released 155 Monarch Butterflies at our 2nd Annual Monarch Release! The STEM classes learned about Monarch butterflies and the importance of conserving and protecting this beautiful species. The classes conducted physicals, tagged each Monarch, and tested for the OE parasite before the release. We are hopeful that our Monarch butterflies will make the long journey to Mexico!
