Picture taken this Monday morning at 7:42 am.
Nice cool start to the day, 71 degrees to start the day off and expected high is 90 degrees.
I seen a couple racing around the yard this morning. I didn't spend much time outside today, so not for sure if one of the females has left or not.
Flowers available for them are: Turks Cap, Garden Phlox, Tall Mexican Petunias, hanging basket with Red Petunias (as shown) a pot of Red Pentas in a tall plant stand, some Morning Glories and a few flowers on the Rose Mallow Bush.
I have this feeder and two tiny feeders out for them. If anyone is wondering what the green fabric on the feeder, I sewed some stretchy material to fit on the glass feeder to keep the sun from shining directly on the glass and I go outside and pour cold water on the fabric to wet it down to help keep the sugar water cool. So glad the triple digit temps are behind us, I was going outside off and on all day trying to keep the fabric wet to keep sugar water cool.
