4 ruby-throated hummers still hanging around mostly nectaring on flowers. Not much activity at nectar feeders. Two are larger females and 2 smaller females or juveniles. They are not as picky about flowers now. They're nectaring on verbena, taurenia, red and yellow Lantana, pink salvia, nasturtium as well as their favorite black-and-blue salvias and cigar flowers. High temperatures have fallen into the 60' and mostly cloudy skies. Quitting time continues to rapidly decrease a couple minutes each evening with this evening's quitting time at 7:40 p.m. central time.
