About 100 monarchs gathered in lg silver maple tree in front of farmhouse, behind alfalfa field and wildflowers.
Weather was hot all week .. into the 30s.

They gathered on the end of branches, and spent about 5 nights in this tree. The weather changed on Friday and they did not return that night.
